The Impossible Quizmas
The Impossible Quizmas is The Impossible Quiz series’ 10th-anniversary edition. It’s a mini-installment that includes 25 questions, mimicking how a Christmas Advent Calender contains 25 days. If you have played any of the games in The Impossible Quiz series, you will recognize characters from the previous games since they also make an appearance. The only power-ups are the Skips. The Impossible Quizmaz is the last release of the series.
Development of The Impossible Quizmas
In the middle of October 2018, it appeared there would be a game coming out for Christmas the same year when Splapp-Me-Do posted a picture on Tumblr. It showed Chris wearing a Santa hat and screaming” “Can’t believe how quickly this year has gone. It’ll soon be Christmas.”. In a text post posed earlier, he officially confirmed that a new game was on its way, and hopefully, it will be done before Christmas.
In November 2017, Splapp-Me-Do started to post teasers of game images. On the 11th of November, Splapp uploaded a video called “The Impossible Quizmas Teaser.” You can watch it here:
In the video, The Impossible Quiz is being played, and when the game starts, there are a couple of teaser questions displayed.
What year did the Impossible Quiz come out? The answer options are:
The player in the video loses a life and then clicks the correct answer (2007).
The next question asks: So, how old is it this year? With the answer buttons reading
The player clicks the correct answer, which is 10.
The third question in the video asks: How many times has it been played? The possible answers are:
- More then 4
The player once again clicks the correct answer, which is 10000000+.
The fourth question states: “How did that happen?!” with the answer buttons reading:
- No idea!
- Don’t know!
- Thanks to the ♥ Fans! ♥
- Splapp-Me-Do plays it endlessly
Once again, the player clicks the correct answer, which is: “Thanks to the ♥ Fans! ♥”.
The last question in the video teaser for The Impossible Quizmas reads: Why hasn’t Splapp done anything to celebrate the anniversary?
The possible answers read:
- He forgot
- He couldn’t be arsed
- I think he’s dead
- He has!
The player loses two lives, and the game is over. The player in the video goes through the first four questions again and fails on the fifth question again. The camera zooms into the answer button where it says, “He has!” When clicked, the screen goes black with the now classical “ding” sound of a correct answer being played.
The Impossible Quizmas’ Difficulty
The Impossible Quizmas generally has less complicated questions, the game has a shorter length, and does not require fast reactions, which other quizzes do. Many players find question number 10 the easiest, while question number 24 of The Impossible Quizmas is the hardest.
